I have finished marking. What shall I do with my marked test scripts?

If you finish marking, please contact the UPS helpdesk on 0845 787 7877 to arrange a collection.

 

I have lost my marker material(s). What do I do?

If you lose any of your material(s) you must contact your supervising marker immediately. You also need to check whether you still have the 'Subject label' for the lost material(s) and advise your supervisor accordingly.

 

How should I request additional scripts?
To register your interest for more script allocations, please complete our “Requesting additional scripts form”. On your second successful attempt at benchmarking, you will be automatically prompted by a message asking you whether you want to mark additional scripts. Once you have informed us, we will contact you if this is required at a later date. Please note that additional script allocations will not come with your standard delivery of scripts; these scripts will be delivered as a separate allocation.

 

Due to unforeseen circumstances I cannot continue to mark for this cycle. What should I do?

Please inform your supervising marker and then arrange a collection by contacting the UPS helpdesk on 0845 787 7877.

 

I am not able to meet my marking deadline. What do I do?

If you are unable to meet your marking deadline, you need to contact your supervising marker immediately. Since you have been trained and contracted to mark your allocation, under no circumstances must you agree to let anyone else mark your scripts.  Remember, that there is no extension to the marking deadline.

 

What should I do if I cannot enter marks in the OMC but need to send the scripts in before the deadline? How do I return them?

If you have scripts to return but cannot enter the marks online, please do the following:
• book a collection with UPS as soon as possible
• print out and fill in a paper marksheet for your subject and return it in a box with the script bags (paper marksheets can be downloaded and printed off from the 2008 document library on Making a mark)
• write on the relevant bag(s) "ONLINE MARK CAPTURE INCOMPLETE"
• return scripts via pre-arranged UPS collection.
