Script delivery and allocations When will I receive my scripts? You can check the status of your script delivery by logging on to www.makingamark.org.uk and selecting the ‘Delivery tracking’ tab.
Key stage 3 All of the key stage 3 scripts that have been collected from schools have now been allocated to markers. If you are marking key stage 3 and have not yet received your allocation, we will ensure you do as soon as we receive additional scripts from schools and any excess allocations are returned by other markers. We apologise that you have had to wait this long.
Key stage 2
I would like to mark additional scripts, how do I do this? To register your interest for more script allocations, please complete our 'Requesting additional scripts form'. On your second successful attempt at benchmarking, you will be automatically prompted by a message asking you whether you want to mark additional scripts. Once you have informed us, we will contact you if this is required at a later date. Please note that additional script allocations will not come with your standard delivery of scripts; these scripts will be delivered as a separate allocation.
Why haven't you sent me enough scripts? Please check that you have received your full allocation by logging in to the 'Online marker applications' through the Making a mark website. If you still have scripts to be delivered, please continue by verifying scripts for any schools you have a full allocation.
Why have you sent me less scripts than the standard allocation? Marker contracts allocations outline the suggested allocation for each key stage and subject. As the allocations are determined by schools size, it is not always possible to provide the exact allocation size. You can request additional allocations by filling out this online form. Please note, this does not guarantee an additional allocation.
I have received too many scripts, what should I do? If you receive more scripts than specified in your contract and you have not requested additional scripts, please contact the helpdesk on 0870 1614529 and we will arrange for these to be collected.
I did not receive my expected allocation of scripts – they were allocated to another marker. Will this affect my payment? All our markers are paid purely by the amount of scripts they receive and mark. We were not able to guarantee that a set number of scripts would be sent out to you. However, if you mark all the scripts we sent you, even if we only attempted to send you half your allocation, you will receive the £100 bonus.
Can I specify the time for my script delivery? Unfortunately, you cannot specify the time for your script delivery. All script deliveries are made between 9.00am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
I have missed my marker consignment delivery from UPS, how do I arrange another delivery? Please contact UPS direct as requested on the UPS ‘calling card’ to arrange a time to visit your local depot to pick up your consignment or arrange an alternative delivery.
How many times will UPS make to deliver my script consignment? UPS will make three attempts to deliver your consignment. UPS will leave a "calling card" with contact details so you can arrange a more convenient delivery time. The card will also have a reference number which you need to quote when arranging this delivery.
Can UPS deliver on Saturdays? UPS do deliver to markers on Saturdays. However, unfortunately UPS will not be arranging redeliveries or collecting scripts which will need reallocation on Saturdays.
Can I contact UPS on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays? If yes, how do I contact them? On Saturdays their opening hours are from 8am till 2pm, but they are closed on Sundays and Bank holidays. The phone number for the UPS helpline is 0845 7877877.
Can I change the address of where my scripts are to be sent? If you miss a delivery UPS will leave a calling card and you can call them to change the address you would like the next delivery to be made to.
