To meet the marking deadline, you must have verified scripts for all pupils, captured and submitted marks online, and passed all benchmarking exercises. Both script verification and online mark capture will be open until midnight for each of the marking deadline dates - Monday 23 June for key stage 3 and Thursday 26 for key stage 2 - for the final capture of pupil marks. 

 

Incentive payment

To recognise the time and commitment of those markers who mark and return their standard allocation, there is a taxable £100 incentive payment. To be eligible, this means you must have completed marking your standard allocation (or all of the scripts you have received if this is less than your standard allocation) by the marking deadline, and have either requested a collection, or have the materials packaged ready for the start of final script collection.
